THAT LITTLE TOUCH
I’m always on the look out for some small pieces of colour I can incorporate into my composition. Right now my local woodland are very green, but together with the light, the shadows and the small amount of red and orange in the Pine trees it's still possible to frame up a composition.
What if you find some beautiful colours to use as a nice foreground focal point? I manage to find these small Bluebells and I think the do wonders with the overall image. That little piece of blue give your eyes something different to focus on. The image does stand out without those Bluebells, the composition works even just with the light and the shadows, but those Bluebells ads a very nice touch and make the image more complete I think I really like the added mood from those Bluebells, and they look very nice when backlit from that light coming down between the trees.
It was a bit windy when I was framing this image, so I decided to take some images of those Bluebells with a bit higher ISO just so I could freeze the movement. Then I just had to blend them in in Photoshop. I could just used the higher ISO for both my images, but I like to use as low ISO as I can.
The final image look very nice, and I really like those Bluebells as my foreground. They lead the eyes into the image very nice and I believe they give some balance to that brighter area in the background.
